Comprised
of Lower East Side veterans, DIGITALIS is a collection of
seasoned professionals from many influential New York bands.
"SKINNY" JOHN is best known for his dynamic guitar playing and wild stage antics in THE REVERB MOTHERFUCKERS. He has also played with VON LMO and MOTHERHEAD BUG.
JULIE HAIR is Digitalis' bassist and backup vocalist. As an accomplished bassist and vocalist, she gained recognition for her cool playing style and/or singing in various bands, such as LIVE SKULL, BITE LIKE A KITTY and Invitation To Suicide recording artists THREE TEENS KILL FOUR. She recently performed with Glen Branca as part of Symphony #13). (Also part of this performance were Digitalis members John Myers & "Skinny" John.)
RICHARD J. HUTCHINS aka "BLOODY RICH" is an exceptional drummer, and has lent his original hammering away style to many bands such as: RUIN, LIVE SKULL, OF CABBAGES AND KINGS, and SUGARTIME.
Vocalist/Guitarist/Sampler/Programmer JOHN MYERS was an original member of 80's New York noise rock band, RAT AT RAT R. His unique guitar playing style has brought him recognition in the pages of Guitar Player Magazine. His highly original songs are featured on all three RAT AT RAT R releases. Besides writing music for theatre and dance, John has also toured and recorded with the mega-guitar ensemble of GLENN BRANCA as well as Elliott Sharp's guitar quartet-D'YNERS CLUB. Currently, besides DIGITALIS, John also is composer, band leader and one of the guitarists of BLASTULA, a guitar ensemble in New York City that he formed.
